London Chinese Community Center (CCC) organized a day trip to the Isabella Planation on 16 May 2018 and 20 members attended the activity in admiration of the blossomed azaleas.
Located inside Richmond Park, the Isabella Plantation is a woodland garden planted in the 1830s. It is best known for its large collections of azaleas, which line the ponds and streams at their peak of flower in late April and early May. The blossomed azaleas gave us a big surprise as if we were inside a sea of flowers. Later we had picnic besides a pond surrounded by trees and flowers. We spent an afternoon admiring a wonderland created by nature.
