Peer Education Programme with Fitzrovia Youth in Action.
This project took place between April 10th and 18th. It gave our young people the opportunity to learn about issues that affect them and design their own awareness campaigns. They received training from film makers to create their own short film that will be used to help raise awareness about their chosen subject. This Easter the group chose mental health, specifically focusing on how bullying can effect us.
As well as giving young people a voice on one of the most pressing issues they face, the project gives youths the opportunity to gain new skills. Participants will receive AQA awards for completing the programme and also a trip.
