Last Sunday (Oct 6) we held our annual #SilverSundayUK event. It was a great opportunity to support older people in our community and fun for everyone involved. We had a wide variety of activities including: paper cutting, Tai Chi demos, dim-sum making, Chinese calligraphy, a traditional music performance and Chinese folk dancing.
There was a lovely atmosphere on the day as old and new faces joined our performers, youth members, staff and volunteers in brilliant activities.
Special thanks to Cllr Christabel Flight, Matthew Sykes – Chief Executive of the Sir Simon Milton Foundation, Lucinda Hurrey – Silver Sunday Co-ordinator and Juliet Hedges – photographer for popping in to say hello!
